Dana Katherine Scully was born on February 23, 1964 and she grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, the second daughter of William and Margaret Scully. She has an older brother, William Junior, an older sister, Melissa, and a younger brother, Charles, who (mysteriously) is never seen on The X Files except in flashback form.
